IMMEDIATE AND FREE RECONNECTION STILL AVAILABLE TO STRANDED USERS OF BISCIT CSP LIMITED (formerly v21.co.uk)
NETSERVICES plc, the wholesale provider of broadband services to Biscit CSP Limited (formerly V21.co.uk Limited trading as V Two One) and ezeeDSL (the preferred provider) who brought in an offer to lifeline stranded customers , have today agreed to remove the walled garden from users that have not yet signed up with ezeeDSL's service.
Although the easy connection route from the walled garden has been withdrawn, stranded Biscit users can still get instant reconnection, with no additional charges, through ezeeDSL's webpage at http://migrateto.ezeedsl.co.uk This link will remain available for a period of two weeks following the 24th November for users who wish to sign up.
Dominic Marrocco, owner of 186k, said: "We have agreed with NetServices to remove the walled garden page with ezeeDSL still remaining the preferred supplier of choice, enabling users to make huge saving on expense reconnection fees and unnessecary downtime etc... We are also still honouring our offer of one-month free connection to any users that do sign up with us."
"NetServices will continue to cease access for all non-ezeeDSL signed Biscit end users from 24th November and it is expected that users will not be able to gain new access for a period of a couple of weeks following that, while their lines are officially cleared by BT. Users that do seek out an alternative provider should remain vigilant of any re-connection charges made by other ISPs."
ezeeDSL is still the only approved suppler that can offer instant reconnection with no additional charges.
The additional benefits of the ezeeDSL connection are:
Access to LLU services, providing SLA and quality agreements and definable contention ratios.
Content cleaning
Anti Spam and Anti Virus scanning
Offering 2mb business users to upgrade to DSL Max

186k STEPS IN TO RESCUE USERS AT BISCIT CSP LIMITED (v21.co.uk)
IN a last minute rescue bid, 186k the fast growing business ISP has stepped forward to save the connections of many thousands of broadband users, following the demise of the services delivered by their troubled broadband provider Biscit CSP Limited (Biscit CSP, formerly called v21.co.uk Limited and trading as V Two One)
The rescue means that Biscit CSP Limited customers can be provided with an alternative solution, with minimal disruption to their services through ezeeDSL, a dedicated broadband provider and a member of the 186k group. Once signed up with ezeeDSL, users will receive the additional EBS (Enhanced Broadband Service) feature package* free of charge.
Commenting on the rescue, Dominic Marrocco, owner of 186k, said We are providing an alternative channel for V Two One's valued customers on NetServices infrastructure, allowing them to continue with the least amount of disruption possible, whilst taking the opportunity to offer the additional benefits of an LLU connection with Anti Virus and Anti Spam protection.
Users will also benefit greatly from 186k's Enhanced Broadband Service and financial stability.
186k understands the many mixed emotions that arise from these situations when suddenly a screen appears without any warning - saying that their provider (Biscit CSP Limited) can no longer give the service that customers had signed up to.
Continuing, Marrocco said: The very nature of these circumstances means that there is no opportunity to prepare and distribute information in advance. We stepped in literally moments before Biscit had their services withdrawn. This meant that there was no way to reach and warn so many users in so little time.
A walled garden which is a standard procedure given these circumstances - was set up by 186k to provide a conduit for the many stranded broadband users.
To provide a transparent alternative, we have compiled many questions and answers, to help alleviate the main concerns that the users will have, continued Marrocco.
It seems, though, that there are a core questions that need a qualified and direct answer. Our experience of other successful rescues including E7even UK Limited and Fast 24 - has given us a great foresight into those concerns, leading us to provide the following key information:
1 186k limited (and subsidiary ezeeDSL) are not and never have been related to Biscit CSP Limited or any of its employees.
2 We are providing an alternative solution to the users, but do not have access to any MAC codes. These still reside with the contract owner Biscit CSP Limited. 186k and ezeeDSL do not have any legal remit to be able to get or supply these codes.
3 Biscit CSP Limited holds data on their customers. Our walled garden page does not require any personal data to be transferred to us from Biscit, maintaining a legally correct position. Any user re-contracting with us is asked for their details when completing our registration procedure.
4 186k Limited has been trading and growing its operational base within the UK. During this time, the company has built up many divisions to help meet customer demand. EzeeDSL was created in August 2005 as a unique brand of 186k, which can easily adapt to the markets needs, providing broadband and a host of other services.
We have also compiled information on this rescue to satisfy official bodies such as Ofcom.
I hope this helps to provide some clarity on the situation, concluded Marrocco.
Users re-contracting with 186ks ezeeDSL service will not be required to pay any migration or connection fees as these are absorbed by 186k to provide a very smooth and cost effective transition.
Mark Vickers, Chief Executive of Net Services plc, the wholesale network provider, said: "We are pleased that we've been able to offer an alternative service through 186ks ezeeDSL, allowing end users, who have been affected by this unfortunate situation, to receive a new connection and minimal disruption.
We are confident that 186ks proven track record of dealing swiftly and competently in these circumstances will be of great benefit to the end users.

After the failure of Fast24 and their service providers
to resolve the position for their customers, ezeeDSL has been chosen to provide a
simple route to allow customers to recontract to a new service provider for a
competitive, reliable solution with a secure and dynamic company. Fast24
customers will be given the ability to sign up with no migration or connection
fee and to be back on line within a few minutes of sign-up.
October
Our wholesale partners have finally announced readiness
for DSL Max services. Our final integration and testing with their APIs
and processes is scheduled for completion at the end of this month.
Through November we will be contacting customers who subscribed to the 2M
services to provide upgrades to Max services.
Through protracted negotiation we finally resolved the position with E7 registered domain names. These names were frustratingly assigned to Netservices PLC by E7 instead of ezeeDSL. Since this time we have been pursuing this directly with Netservices to have them assigned to us so that we can assign domains to the correct customers. These have now been migrated to the control of ezeeDSL. Customers can now take advantage of one of the most powerful domain management systems available to customers throughout the Internet. If there are any questions in relation to domains, please direct them to our Hostmaster.
14/7/06
All migrated ezeeDSL customers who have existing email, website and domain hosting with E7even UK Limited will have their services migrated to the ezeeDSL portal also known as Medusa. This will allow customers to maintain their existing accounts online.
This work will begin from 16:00. We aim for this to be as transparent as possible, this includes the migration of their existing pop3 accounts and websites to our core infrastructure. No username or passwords will be changed during this process.
14/7/06
E7even UK Limited customers who have not taken up the ezeeDSL opportunity from 16:00 14/7/2006 will be moved to ceased status with the service providers. All related services to those users, mail web and dns, will not be supported from this date.
The estimated time for ceases to be made effective is 10 working days. This is a supplier process constraint and not something that can be effected, nor influenced by ezeeDSL. ezeeDSL does not have any involvement with E7even UK Limited customers and contracts. Any questions related to this will require to be escalated with E7.
10/7/06
ezeeDSL will be adding an additional Transit provider to replace the existing IP Transit connection This is a staged change to replace the existing IP Transit. This is the first step along the way of integrating E7Õs network into the 186K core network which will include both new IP Transit suppliers and public peering points. The integration will benefit end users by providing faster and more resilient connectivity with the rest of the Internet.
10/7/06
From 3:00 11/7/06 the E7 Tiscali Wholesale customers who have taken broadband services with ezeeDSL will be seamlessly moved to ezeeDSL's own connection with Tiscali. This change will remove connectivity hops incurred by E7 and their previous wholesale partner, thereby improving the connectivity for these customers.
